  • be whole

Issues involving sexual, emotional, physical abuse, traumatic incidents, accidents or any perceived feelings of threat which made you feel that your survival was at risk.
  • learn, heal and grow

    Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Not everyone who experiences trauma in their lives develops PTSD, but many people do. PTSD can be extremely debilitating to one’s normal level of functioning as the symptoms are intense and overwhelming. It is important to address this condition with a trained professional who can provide education as well as treatment.
  • give yourself the gift that keeps on giving

Surviving a loss can be devastating. This can come in the form of the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a miscarriage, losing one’s job, relocating, a change in status in life, etc.
  • enjoy a more joyful, productive life

    Relationship issues

Relationships and how we interact with others is an integral part of life. When our relationships don’t work, it impacts us in devastating ways
  • develop insight, create effective coping mechanisms

When we are in pain we can look for ways to shut this pain out. Alcohol, drugs, sex, food, gambling, shopping and work are all ways one can medicate oneself.
  • learn, heal and grow

    Health Challenges

Our physical health is a precious commodity and when that is challenged in any way it can unravel our lives. Therapy can help in addressing these issues from dealing with the challenge and finding ways back to our lives, even if it means learning to live in a new way.
  • embark on your personal path of transformation

Life is a journey during which we have opportunities for growth. Our darkest moments often provide lessons which enable us to move forward in life. Looking at life from this perspective can be a rich and gratifying experience. Learning to live life with intention and consciously vs. randomly is a goal of living a spiritual life.

Psychotherapy can help you lead joyful life, achieve your dreams and restore hope

Therapy offers an opportunity for people to openly talk about their thoughts and feelings while being assisted by an unbiased, caring professional.

Most clients find the process to be tremendously helpful, as they release emotions and memories they have been holding onto for a long time.
This release enables them to finally be free of old, unhealthy beliefs and patterns which have kept them stuck in life.
They are then able to develop insight, create effective coping mechanisms and enjoy a more joyful, productive life.

When you make the commitment to work in therapy, the results will be well worth the effort.

It is an investment in you and the dividends are endless.

Find the right therapist, someone who is capable of guiding you in your process of healing.

One of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client.

The client must feel a sense of safety and be able to develop a trusting, respectful relationship with the therapist in order for therapy to be successful.

Having been in the field of Mental Health for over 20 years, my practice has evolved along with me. I believe that as we go “deeper” into ourselves, this translates into everything we do.
Hence, my clients are now getting more of me as a result of my constant personal journey to grow and evolve. I see this as an important factor in selecting a therapist because you want to choose someone who is capable of guiding you to where you need to go.

Make sure you give yourself the opportunity to talk to your potential therapist on the phone to get a sense of how you interact.
Allow yourself the chance to go to a few sessions to experience what therapy is like and above all, be honest.

Speaking truthfully about your concerns is one way of getting what you want and solidifying an open and honest therapeutic relationship.
